Mr. Yang holds a bachelor`s degree in oil and gas production from Daqing Petroleum Institute, PRC and a master`s degree in economics from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics. Mr. Yang has more than 26 years of experience in the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). Prior to joining PetroKazakhstan Group of Companies, Mr. Yang held senior positions in the Finance Department of "CNPC-Aktobemunaigas” JSC, including Head of the Finance Department. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Yang headed the Finance Department of "PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources” JSC, Kyzylorda. From 2010 to 2016, he held senior positions in the Finance Department of "CNPC International in Kazakhstan" in Almaty and Beijing. Since 2016, Mr. Yang held the position of Vice President for Finance of AB "PetroKazakhstan Overseas Services Inc", Almaty.
